南非茶Rooibos,又名博士茶,意思就是红色的灌木,是一种生长在南非开普顿北部凡波斯的豆科灌木植物,有「南非的红宝石」的美誉。南非茶不含咖啡因,单宁比红茶或绿茶来得低,而且还可降血压及血糖,是一种非常健康的饮料。南非茶的功效良多,有兴趣知道的朋友可以看这里。
平常喝南非茶我都是热饮,不加其它糖份或牛奶,之后上网看资料时发现很多食谱都是将其它材料加入南非茶内,令南非茶变成更特别的饮料,如加入干花,水果,或者是加入香料和牛奶煮成印度香料奶茶(Rooibos Chai)。所以我觉得我应该一改以往作风,尝试加入不同的食材,煮出适合自己口味的特色南非茶。家里冰箱还有不少冷冻草莓,我以草莓配搭干玫瑰花,再以原蔗糖调味,一款充满果香和花香的南非茶就完成了。草莓和玫瑰花的营养价值高,可说是女性的圣品,草莓含有果胶及维生素C,可养颜美容,玫瑰花也一样养颜护肤,而且可在经期间缓解情绪不佳和痛经等症状。以草莓熬煮出来的水带点微红,再加入南非茶一起浸泡,茶的颜色更加红了,看起来非常讨喜。这茶喝起来带点果香和花香,味道微酸带甜,如果你喜欢水果茶或者是花茶,不妨试一试这一款草莓玫瑰南非茶。
草莓玫瑰南非茶
材料:
水 1000毫升
南非茶包 1个
干玫瑰花 20朵(用热水冲洗)
草莓 5个(切半)
有机原蔗糖 4汤匙或更多
做法:
1. 在一个小锅中加入水、草莓和糖煮滚。转至中小火,继续煮10分钟。
2. 加入玫瑰红煮大约30秒,熄火然后从火炉上移开。加入茶包,然后加盖让让茶包浸泡3分钟。取出茶包,将茶倒入茶壶里,乘温饮用。

5 strawberries, halved
4 tbsp organic raw cane sugar, or more to taste

Method:
1. Add water, strawberries and sugar to a saucepan and bring to boil. Turn to medium low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Add rose buds and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Add tea bag then cover the saucepan with lid and let the tea bag to steep for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes remove the teabag, then transfer the tea to a teapot. Serve warm.
