古早味美禄冰条 Old Fashioned Milo Popsicles

以前学校门口附近总会有些小档口或零食店,卖各式各样的零食和冰条,偶尔放学后我也会到去那里买零食和冰条。小时候一有得吃冰条就会就会感到很满足,乐上一整天,想想我也有很多年没吃冰条了,突然很怀念小时候那些冰条的味道。


古早味的冰条有很多口味,有红豆、榴莲、酸梅、黄梨、美禄等等,不过这么多口味中,最受小朋友欢迎的应该是美禄冰条。前几天我准备了很多美禄冰条,在这里请大家“视吃视吃”,希望大家喜欢!




























古早味美禄冰条

材料:
水 1000毫升
美禄粉 300克
炼奶 100克

做法:
1. 将1000毫升的水放入一个锅里煮滚,然后加入美禄粉和炼奶,搅拌至均匀即可熄火。放置一旁让其冷却至室温。
2. 将美禄倒入量杯里。取一个条状塑胶袋,缓缓地倒入美禄直到2/3满,然后打一个结将塑胶袋绑紧,一直重复直到用完所有美禄。
3. 将绑好的塑胶袋平放在盘子上,然后放入冰箱冷冻数小时至结成冰条。食用前将打结的部位剪掉即可享用。


份量:14条




Old Fashioned Milo Popsicles

Ingredients:
1000 ml water
300 g Milo powder
100 g condensed milk

Method:
1. Bring 1000 ml of water to a boil in a pot. Add Milo powder and condensed milk, stir until well combined. Turn off the heat and set aside. Let it cool down to room temperature.
2. Pour the Milo mixture into a measuring cup, then fill a ice popsicle plastic tube until 2/3 full, Tie a knot at the end. Repeat until all Milo mixture is used up.
3. Lay the filled plastic tubes on a tray, then freeze for several hours until completely frozen. To serve, just snip off the top and enjoy!

哥斯拉美禄 Milo Godzilla

去年的九月我上了个恐龙美禄饮料的帖子,今年的九月我又再上一个哥斯拉美禄的帖子。恐龙美禄和哥斯拉美禄都一样是冷的美禄饮料再加美禄粉,不过哥斯拉美禄就多了一勺的香草雪糕在上面。突然很怀念嘛嘛档风味的食物,所以午餐时我就准备了嘛嘛炒面和哥斯拉美禄。















图中的Milo Van是2011年的造型。杯子和Milo Van都是向妈妈借来拍照用的。
妈妈家里其实收藏了好几款的Milo杯子和Milo Van,每一个都令我爱不释手。















哥斯拉美禄

材料:
美禄粉 5汤匙
滚水 150毫升
冰块 适量

装饰:
美禄粉 2满汤匙
香草雪糕 1勺

做法:
1. 将美禄粉放入一个杯中,倒入滚水,搅拌至均匀。
2. 把冰块装入一个玻璃杯里至半满,倒入美禄,然后撒上2满汤匙的美禄粉,再加入一勺的香草雪糕在上面即可饮用。




Milo Godzilla

Ingredients:
5 tbsp of Milo powder
150 ml boiling water
Some ice cubes

To decorate:
2 heaped tbsp Milo powder
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

Method:
1. Mix Milo powder and boiling water in a cup. Stir until well combined,
2. Fill a glass half full with ice cubes, then pour the Milo into the glass. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of Milo powder, and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream . Enjoy!

美禄三明治 Milo Sandwiches

美禄除了可以拿来准备不同的饮料外原来还可以拿来做三明治,看到了Roti n Rice的食谱让我很想试。美禄三明治的味道是一甜一咸的,甜的是加了甜炼奶的,而咸的是加了牛油的。美禄三明治再加上咖啡美禄就成了我今天的简单午餐。


































美禄三明治

(食谱参考Roti n Rice)

材料:
白面包 4片
牛油 1汤匙
炼奶 2茶匙
美禄粉 2汤匙

做法:
1. 在两片面包上抹上牛油,而另两片则抹上炼奶。

2. 撒上一汤匙的美禄粉在其中一片抹上牛油的面包上,然后再把另一片抹上牛油的面包盖上。抹上炼奶的面包也是同样的做法。

3. 用利刀把面包边切掉,然后将三明治切半成长方形即可享用。




Milo Sandwiches

(Recipe adapted from Roti n Rice)

Ingredients
4 slices of white bread
1 tbsp butter
2 tsp sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp Milo powder

Method:
1. Butter the 2 slices of bread and spread sweetened condensed milk on the remaining 2 slices.

2. Spread a tablespoon of Milo on 1 slice of buttered bread. Sandwich with the other slice of buttered bread. Repeat with bread spread with condensed milk.

3. Slice off the crust on all sided with a very sharp knife. Cut the sandwich into half to form rectangles. Serve immediately.

咖啡美禄 Neslo

以前上班前早餐时都会喝一杯美禄,偶尔需要提神时我就会加入少许即溶咖啡粉,那么饮料就会变成咖啡美禄了。咖啡美禄英文称为Neslo,是Nescafe加Milo的意思,Nes+lo=Neslo。上班前的早餐总是一杯咖啡美禄再加一包经济米粉面或椰浆饭,吃得饱饱后就开开心心上班去。不过现在的我已经很少喝Neslo了,早餐都是一杯柠檬蜂蜜水加早餐谷粮,没办法啦,小宝贝每次看我吃什么,她也要跟着吃,慢慢地我就将就她,早餐都是一式两份。


今天中午准备了一份美禄三明治再加杯咖啡美禄当午餐。准备时已经开始感觉饿了,结果拍着时更饿,唯有一面强忍,一面快手把照片拍好。看着食物在前面却不能吃,这种感觉真的是有点折磨人,还好最后顺利完成拍摄,可以好好享受我的午餐。

























咖啡美禄

材料:
美禄粉 4汤匙
Nescafe即溶咖啡粉 1茶匙
炼奶 1/2汤匙
水 300毫升


做法:
1. 将水放入一个小锅里加热至滚,然后加美禄粉、即溶咖啡粉和炼奶,搅拌至均匀后即可熄火。
2. 以奶泡器将咖啡美禄搅拌大约45秒直到形成奶泡。把咖啡美禄倒入杯中,乘热享用!


份量: 1杯 (容量320毫升的杯)或 2杯(容量180毫升的杯)




Neslo

Ingredients:
4 tbsp Milo powder
1 tsp Nescafe instant coffee powder
1 tbsp condensed milk
300 ml water

Method:
1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, Add Milo powder, instant coffee powder and condensed milk. Stir until well combine, then turn off the heat.
2. Using a milk frother, froth the Neslo for about 45 seconds until foamy. Pour the Neslo into the mugs or cups. Serve hot.


Servings: 1 (320ml mug) or 2 (180ml cup)

魔术美禄球 Magic Milo Balls

偶然看到魔术美禄球的食谱,发现这食谱蛮容易的,而且材料也很简单,只需四种材料。可是食谱里的其中一个重要材料葛根牛奶饼干,我却不知道要到哪里去买,原本打算不做了,不过我很幸运,前几天逛街时看到有食品促销展,刚好就有卖这款饼干,既然材料都有齐了,那当然要试一试做这个魔术美禄球。


Arnott's 牌子的葛根牛奶饼干历史悠久,来自澳洲,饼干是以小麦粉、糖、植物油、炼乳、盐、发粉及葛根粉制成的,一般开始向婴儿介绍固体食物时都会让婴儿试吃这饼干(资料来源维基百科)。我试吃了一块这饼干,觉得味道很熟悉,可是却说不上这是什么味道,可能这就是葛根粉的味道吧!这食谱里的两大材料都是原自澳洲的产品,饼干是道地澳洲生产的,不过美禄粉我却选用本地装的,原因是澳洲进口的美禄粉太贵了,一罐750克的澳洲美禄粉价钱大约RM64,本地装的美禄粉1.5kg才大约RM32,虽然我也知道味道方面可能会有些不同,不过价钱差别太大,所以实在很难下得了手去买。


原食谱里提到在佳节时,魔术美禄球这款小点心可以用来代替兰姆酒让小朋友们吃,魔术美禄球和兰姆球的做法很相似,唯一不同的是前者没加入酒,而后者是兰姆酒为主。魔术美禄球蛮容易做的,相信小朋友们都会感兴趣,家长们可以先帮忙混合材料,然后搓成球状的工作就交给小朋友们,大家一起做的话一定可以增进亲子关系。虽然这小点心偏甜了些,不过偶尔吃一些应该没关系。





































魔术美禄

(食谱参考Starts At Sixty)

材料:
葛根牛奶饼干 1包(250克)
炼奶 1罐(392克)
美禄粉 8汤匙
干椰丝 适量

做法:
1. 将饼干放入食物处理器里打碎,加入美禄粉和炼奶,混合至均匀。
2. 用手取一些饼干混合物,搓成1汤匙大小的球状(弄湿手搓会比较容易操做)。把搓好的美禄球放入干椰丝里,裹上一层椰丝,收入冰箱里冷藏30分钟或直到定型。




Magic Milo Balls

(Recipe adapted from Starts At Sixty)

Ingredients:
1 packet Milk Arrowroot biscuits (250g)
1 tin sweetened condensed milk (392g)
8 tbsp Milo powder
Dessicated coconut, for rolling

Method:
1. Crush the biscuits until small or fine (this works well in a food processor if you have one!). Add the Milo and condensed milk and mix until well combined.
2. Roll into tablespoon sized balls with your hands (damp hands make the balls easier to handle) and then roll in the shredded coconut to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.

美禄隔夜燕麦 Milo Overnight Oats

之前曾做过巧克力花生酱口味的隔夜燕麦,那种浓郁的味道实在太好吃,因此我想用美禄来准备隔夜燕麦味道也应该会很相似。果然不出我所料,浓浓的美禄味的燕麦真的很好吃。这次的隔夜燕麦我加入了蔓越莓干和杏仁,蔓越莓干吃起来带点微酸,可以平衡一下味道较甜的美禄,而且加了这两样干果和坚果,不但可增加口感,而且也令这燕麦吃起来更有营养。



































美禄隔夜燕麦

材料:
牛奶 1杯
燕麦 1/2杯
奇异籽 1茶匙
美禄粉 4汤匙
烤香杏仁 1/4杯
蔓越莓干 1/4杯

做法:
1. 在一个清洁的玻璃罐子里混合牛奶,燕麦,奇异籽和美禄粉,盖好,收入冰箱冷藏至隔夜。

2. 隔天早上加入蔓越莓和杏仁碎,撒上1汤匙的美禄粉即可享用!


份量:1人




Milo Overnight Oats

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1/2 cup rolled oat
1 tsp chia seeds
4 tbsp Milo powder
1/4 cup almond, toasted
1/4 cup dried cranberry

Methods:
1. In a clean glass jar, mix the milk, rolled oat, chia seeds and Milo powder. Then cover the jar and chill it in the refrigerator overnight.

2. In the morning, top the oatmeal with dried cranberry and chopped almond, sprinkle with 1 tbsp of Milo powder and enjoy!

美禄燕菜 Milo Agar-Agar

小时候吃的燕菜味道只有那几种,有粉红色的、美禄口味的或是香兰椰浆口味的,不过这些古早味的燕菜总是百吃不厌。美禄燕菜我已经有很多年没吃到了,不久前家婆自己准备美禄燕菜,我才有机会再次吃到美禄燕菜。吃到那味道浓郁的美禄燕菜时就会想到小时候的那些美好时光,那些童年趣事,不知道大家也会有同样的感触呢?让我们大家一起在这里分享这古早味的美禄燕菜,一起怀念童年的美好时光。








































美禄燕菜

材料:
燕菜粉 1包(25克,美人鱼牌)
水 2500毫升
美禄粉 350克
炼奶 150克

做法:
1. 将水放入锅里煮至滚,加入燕菜粉、美禄粉和炼奶,转至小火煮至燕菜完全溶化。

2. 将燕菜混合液过滤,然后倒入模具里,让它稍微冷却,然后收入冰箱冷藏,切成块状即可享用。




Milo Agar-Agar

Ingredients:
1 packet of agar-agar powder (25g per packet, Mermaid brand)
2500 ml water
350 g Milo powder
150 g condensed milk

Method:
1. Bring the water to boil in a pot. Add agar-agar powder, Milo powder and condensed milk, lower the heat and simmer till agar-agar is fully dissolved.

2. Strain the agar-agar mixture, then pour into the moulds. Allow it to cool and chill the agar-agar in the refrigerator. Cut into serving pieces and the agar-agar is ready to serve.
